This standard was issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs through Announcement No. 1515 of 2011, and is numbered 36 in the agricultural industry standard system. The standard was formulated in accordance with the requirements for the quality supervision of agricultural inputs, refining the technical parameters not clearly defined in the original 2007 version to form a more comprehensive testing indicator system.

Technical Indicator Requirements

The standard uses free amino acids as the main component and is divided into two categories according to form: solid and liquid. Micronutrient-type products must meet the following requirements:

  • Free amino acid content: solid ≥10%, liquid ≥100g/L
  • Total micronutrient content: solid ≥2.0%, liquid ≥20g/L
  • Contain two or more of the following elements: copper, zinc, boron, manganese, and iron.

Calcium-type products require the following standards

  • Free amino acid content is the same as for micronutrient-type products
  • Calcium content: solid ≥3.0%, liquid ≥30g/L
  • Calcium can be applied in combination with other micronutrients.
