Root Rot Specific is a fully water-soluble powder developed for crops growing under difficult root-zone conditions. The formula combines Chinese herbal extracts, humic acid, fulvic acid and trace elements. It is suitable for use when crops show weak root activity, slow growth, yellowing or reduced water and nutrient uptake associated with root stress.

It can be applied through drip irrigation, soil drenching, sprinkler irrigation or foliar spraying. The product should be used as part of an integrated root-management program rather than as a replacement for drainage improvement, sanitation or registered crop-protection products.

Application Notes

  1. Dissolve the powder in a small amount of water before adding it to the main tank.
  2. Apply the root-zone treatment around active feeder roots.

  4. Use the higher rate only where field conditions and crop tolerance justify it.
  5. For foliar application, one 2 kg bag requires approximately 1,200–1,600 L of water.
  6. Spray during the cooler part of the day.
  7. Avoid application immediately before heavy rain.
  8. Flush drip-irrigation lines with clean water after use.

FAQ

1. Is Root Rot Specific a fungicide?

No. The current formulation is presented as a water-soluble root-zone fertilizer containing herbal extracts, humic substances and trace elements. 

2. Can it completely cure root rot?

No. The formula is intended to support root-zone nutrition and crop recovery as part of an integrated programme.

3. When should the product be applied?

It is best used at the early stage of root stress or in fields with a previous history of root problems. Severely collapsed plants may not recover even after application.

4. Can it be used through drip irrigation?

Yes. Pre-dissolve the product, filter the solution when necessary and flush the system after application.

5. How much product is needed per hectare?

The recommended rates are:

Drip irrigation: 7.5 kg/ha

Soil drench: 15 kg/ha

Sprinkler irrigation: 1.5 kg/ha

Foliar spraying: dilute 600–800 times

6. How much area can one 2 kg bag cover by foliar spraying?

One 2 kg bag can cover approximately 40 mu, equal to about 2.67 hectares, using approximately 1,200–1,600 litres of spray water.

7. Can it be mixed with fungicides?

Compatibility depends on the formulation. Conduct a jar test first. If live microorganisms are added to the final formula, avoid mixing with broad-spectrum fungicides, bactericides or disinfectants unless compatibility has been verified.

8. Is it suitable for preventive use?

It may be included in a preventive root-zone program at an appropriate rate, especially during transplanting or periods of high root stress. Preventive use cannot replace good drainage, sanitation and disease monitoring.
